Solid 14k Custom Vintage Inspired Natural Ruby and Natural Diamond Ring
$980.00This Ruby and Diamond Ring was created through a beautiful collaboration with a client who brought in an existing vintage piece that had become worn over time. The original ring featured a channel setting with a cut-out design, but due to daily wear, the diamonds had shifted, causing some to fall out. The lightweight construction and warped prongs were no longer providing the security the client needed for everyday wear. The goal was to preserve the charm of the vintage ring while ensuring the diamonds were properly secured and the overall piece felt more substantial.
We reset the diamonds, carefully replacing the missing stones and cleaning the existing ones. To address the concerns of security and durability, we created a more robust solid gold setting. We also filled in any empty spaces with gold, but preserved the vintage aesthetic by leaving a few openings near the ruby, allowing the design to maintain its original charm. The result is a beautifully reimagined piece that honors the vintage style while offering a sturdier, more secure foundation for everyday wear. The rich red of the ruby and the sparkle of the diamonds now stand out even more, making this a truly heirloom-quality ring.
