SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPPING & ORDER TIMING

Once your order is placed on our website, we will begin producing your piece immediately. Typical production timing for any jewelry on our website is between 1 and 4 weeks. In some cases, depending on the requirements of your design it may take up to 8 weeks. All of our jewelry is handmade to order, and each piece has its own production timeline. If you have placed a custom order, the lead time will be discussed during the customization process. For custom orders: Once your piece is complete and ready to ship, we will email you to coordinate the best shipping time. You may need to sign for the package due to the value. We ship UPS insured, with 2-day delivery. We typically do not ship over the weekend for insurance reasons. You also have the option to have the package held at a local UPS facility for pickup with a photo ID if you will not be home to sign for the package. We can coordinate this with you before shipping.

For all non-custom orders, we ship USPS flat rate and tracking will be sent to your email on file.

International shipping is available through DHL. Shipping costs depend on the value of the piece & your receiving country. It generally takes 3-7 business days to arrive depending on your country’s customs. However, there may be cases where a shipment can be "on hold," or delayed for various reasons that are out of our control. If you must have your piece by a specific date, please take potential shipping delays into consideration. We recommend placing your order a minimum of three weeks before the desired delivery date. All international import fees are charged directly to the client when the piece enters customs. The amount of import tax varies by location. Please call us at (646) 522-1049 if you have any questions regarding an international order. We are happy to consult with you and give you the best option for shipping and the fees required.

 

RETURNS FOR STORE CREDIT

Each piece of Human Design Hawaii jewelry is made-to-order and hand-crafted for you. Since our jewelry is custom-created, we do not offer refunds on any of our jewelry designs. 

That said, we are a small studio, and ultimately our goal is for you to be 100% happy with your jewelry. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your item for store credit. Returns for store credit must be received within 7 days of the delivery date listed on your tracking number. 

To request a return for store credit, please email us with all of the following information:

 

  • In the subject of the email, provide the order number. If you do not have the order number, please provide the last four digits of the card used and the date of purchase. If you don't have that information, please provide the full name on the order.
  • In the body of the email, provide the full name and email address of who is receiving the store credit

 

Once we verify your order information, we will email you a return shipping label. The cost of the return label will be deducted from your store credit amount.

After a return is received, it must be inspected by our quality team for any wear and tear. If no wear and tear is found, we will issue you a store credit. If it is evident that a piece has been worn in excess other than for purposes of try-on, a store credit will not be approved. We will ship the original piece back to you, and you will be invoiced for the cost of the return shipping label.
