When my client first came to me, she wasn’t just looking for a beautiful ring — she was looking for a tool she could wear every day. As an avid knitter, she needed something that could effortlessly split yarn while she worked, without snagging or slowing her down.
We started by carefully considering the proportions of the stone. The height above the band needed to be just right — elevated enough for function, yet still comfortable for daily wear. To give the design a modern, streamlined feel, we chose an exaggerated bezel, framing the stone in a bold yet minimalist embrace. The wider band balanced the proportions, creating a clean silhouette that felt both sleek and strong.
As a final touch, we added subtle detailing to the basket of the setting — a hidden artistry only she would know about, like a secret just for the wearer. The result is a piece that blends beauty with purpose: a modern ring that celebrates her craft, her style, and the way her hands bring creations to life.
